These smaller posts are not so intellectually satisfying, but at least I'm putting a couple of them up, instead of doing school-work...hoorah!

Well I do have to research 13 & God that's them
at some stage, since I'm supposed to be interviewing them.
They are a super-group collaboration between themselves Scary huh? (you can find out about them on the newly redesigned anticon site),
and also the notwist: Germans mit moodlighting
So, apparently they first met in (the notwist's hometown) Munich and got all flustered like little girls, & then on a tour together, their bus caught fire outside Toronto, & rather than give up in despair, or run screaming into the snow, attempting to put out the still burning flames upon their bodies, they made music together.
Men of station 12 inch
The 13&God album
The album was recorded over 17 days (?) in Munich & combines the notwist's 'experimental, woodwinded, electronic rock, pop' with themselves' ' penchant for layered poetry and otherworldly melody, rewriting of the rulebook for sample based music + also some keyboard tinkling'.
Actually, jokes about tour buses aren't really funny, 'coz Dax Pierson (keyboardist for themselves) recently broke his spine in another tour-bus spill when themselves were touring as part of another super group Subtle. It's a little harder for us in Oz to attend the fundraising gigs that are being done to help raise $80,000 for Dax's medical expenses, but you can find out how to make donations & also leave a message if u like, on his website.
Photo-blogging doesn't get research done so efficiently, and now I really have to go and get some school-werk done. More when I have time.

I thought I'd post this link to some Star wars info. A lot of Star wars info. Since the release of Ep.II, every scrap of information has been portioned out like a single bacon flake to the ravening hoardes of fans, about one every two months, & all at once George Lucas babbles enough Star Wars in five minutes to completely fry the synapses of every weak-minded fan-boy in the universe. He even hints, from a certain point of view, that he may be doing ep.s 7-9. Well, glory in it now, before we all have to start bagging Ep.3, "revenge of the fans"...
No wait, come back, I can change! Bye, now bye George, bye, you've wasted enough of my time this morning, I have to go and work...on the erm... power converters.
