Once More With (That Cringing) Feeling

Now that I'm genuinely avoiding real work I feel like a blog. I've been thinking of using this as a research diary, but first I should like to post something here for posterity - since I can't find a hard copy of this, at least not at all easily, I am here posting a shining symbol of my surrender to cult-nerdiness:
